Version 1.0 · Effective Date: 5 September 2026 · Last Updated: 5 September 2026

We collect the details you give us through the contact form so we can reply, we keep cookieless aggregate statistics about visits, and nothing else. No accounts, no advertising, no selling of data.

Who we are

This site, simplyxity.lk, is operated by Simplyxity (Pvt) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Sri Lanka under company number PV 00372502, with its registered office at Kalutara, Sri Lanka. We decide how and why the personal data described in this policy is used, and we are responsible for it. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@simplyxity.lk.

What we collect and why

We collect only two kinds of information. First, whatever you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, your email address and the message you write, which we use to reply to you and, if you become a client, to prepare your proposal. Second, the technical records that any website produces when it is visited: the address of the device requesting a page and the pages requested, which our hosting provider keeps for a short period to run the service securely. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not run advertising, and we never sell or rent personal data.

The contact form

Submissions are received by SimplyForms, a form-handling service we subscribe to, which stores each message and emails it to us. It checks that the sender is a person rather than a bot using Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not build a profile of you. SimplyForms stores submissions on servers in the United Kingdom, so the details you send travel outside Sri Lanka; our subscription terms require the provider to protect them and to use them only to deliver the service to us.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses no cookies and no identifier that follows you between sites, and it reports only aggregate figures. We cannot identify you from it, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for up to twelve months after our last exchange with you, or for the life of the client relationship if a project starts, and then deleted. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for its standard short retention period. Aggregate analytics contain nothing that identifies you and are kept indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to any use of it. Email hello@simplyxity.lk and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the data protection authority in Sri Lanka once it is accepting complaints, and nothing in this policy limits any right you have under law.

The Personal Data Protection Act

Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, is being brought into force in stages. Whether or not a particular provision applies to a company of our size on a given date, we handle personal data according to its principles: we collect only what we need for a stated purpose, we keep it no longer than necessary, we protect it, we are transparent about what we do, and we act on your rights. We will update this policy as the Act and its regulations take effect.

How to contact us

Email hello@simplyxity.lk, or write to Simplyxity (Pvt) Ltd, Kalutara, Sri Lanka. Please include enough detail for us to find your data, for example the email address you used in the contact form.
